TOM Q. SAMMON, PATROL LIEUTENANT: Began his career with the Humble Police department in 1985 working in the patrol bureau. He was later promoted to patrol sergeant in September of 1996. As a patrol supervisor he had the opportunity to work every shift. He was promoted to his current position as lieutenant of the patrol bureau in January of 2003.

Lieutenant Sammon is a 2004 graduate of the Leadership Command College at Sam Houston State University.

Lieutenant Sammon is a former president of the Humble High School Alumni Association and has also served as a judge in local events. He is a former director for the Humble Police Association, and is currently a member of the Texas Police Association.
