Employed in the Criminal Justice Field since 1998 and a sworn officer since 2004, he is currently assigned to Patrol and the shift’s Crime Scene Officer. Has received over 100 hours training in Crime Scene / Forensic related courses, to include the Intermediate and Advanced Crime Scene Training. He has attended classes in investigating violent crime scenes and basic fingerprint identification. Other classes include Techniques for Developing Latent Fingerprints and Digital Photography.

He is a graduate of Sam Houston State University in 1998 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and holds an Intermediate Certification through TCLEOSE and is a Certified TCLEOSE Instructor and Field Training Officer.

A current Instructor of the Intermediate Crime Scene Class TCLEOSE Core-Course for the police department in which different agencies participate.

Assists in the Humble Forensic Laboratory processing evidence and entering latent prints into AFIS for identification.
