The Patrol Division is responsible for providing safety and security to the citizens of Humble. There are 25 uniformed patrol officers that patrol the city streets 24 hours a day in addition to:

  • 4 officers assigned to Traffic Unit
  • 2 officers assigned to Deerbrook Mall
  • 1 officer assigned to the Humble High School
  • 2 officers assigned as full-time Jailers
  • 2 officers assigned to the Municipal Court for Traffic Warrants

Traffic Unit
 

The Traffic/Accident Unit conducts investigations on all fatal accidents, serious bodily injury accidents, and any governmental vehicle accidents. Duties include the follow up investigations of all Fail to Stop and Render Aid and Fail to Stop and Give Information accidents and coordinate all major events affecting traffic, such as, parades, holidays and other major events.
