Sergeant Danny Lee graduated from MacArthur High School in Houston and received his Bachelor’s degree at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. He was hired by the Humble Police Department in 1995 and has held positions of Patrol Officer, K9 Handler, Field Training Officer, SWAT Team Member and Detective during his employment here.

Sergeant Lee has attained a Master Peace Officer Certificate and has many certificates in Firearms Instruction, Officer Tactics, Ballistics, K-9 Handling, Narcotics Interdiction and Explosive Identification. Sergeant Lee is currently assigned as a patrol shift supervisor and department Firearms Instructor. He has taught numerous tactical classes to officers in the operation and handling of Patrol Procedures, Explosives, Handguns, Rifles and Shotguns.

Professional affiliations include membership in the Texas Tactical Police Officers Association, International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors, American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers, National Tactical Officers Association and others.
