Have you ever wondered what it is like to be a police officer? Please join us at our Citizens Police Academy. The class meets every Tuesday for 12 weeks at 6:00 p.m. at the Humble Police Department. Students are introduced to all aspects of law enforcement, including:

 
 
  • Police Department Structure
  • Criminal Investigations
  • Patrol Procedures
  • Traffic Laws and Traffic Stops
  • Firearms Training (Note: This does not meet requirements for a DPS Concealed Carry License)
  • Self-Defense Training
  • And more!!
   

The class if offered free of charge to Humble residents and individuals that work in Humble.

Humble Police Academy Alumni Organization

The Humble Police Academy Alumni Organization meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m.. Members of this organization have successfully completed a Citizen Police Academy through the Humble Police Department. The members of this organization assist the Humble Police Department in community events, the court, making copies, and much more.
